After winning hearts and the Bigg Boss 17 trophy, Munawar Faruqui has now purchased himself a luxurious apartment in Mumbai.
According to a report by Times Now, the comedian has bought a property, located in the upscale neighbourhood of Wadala for Rs. 6.09 crore.
According to the report, Faruqui&rsquo;s new residence is located in Lodha Aura, an upscale, under-construction project by Macrotech Developers Limited.
The 40-storey tower features luxurious 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments. The transaction, finalised in September 2024, came with a stamp duty of Rs 36.6 lakh and a registration fee of Rs. 30,000.
Wadala has emerged as a prime real estate hotspot and is well-known for its blend of residential and commercial developments.
Recently, Deepika Padukone, Aryan Khan and Triptii Dimri also bought luxurious apartments in plush neighbourhoods of Mumbai.

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui has been announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 17. Besides the trophy, Munawar will take home the grand cash prize of Rupees 50 lakhs and a swanky new car. The comedian was overwhelmed with joy when his name was announced as the winner of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.
His family had also joined him to show their support and were radiating with pride.
Abhishek Kumar was named the runner-up of the show. &nbsp;The other finalists of &lsquo;Bigg Boss 17&rsquo; were Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mahashetty.
About Munawar&rsquo;s journey
Despite Munawar Faruqui's consistent efforts to amuse the audience with his one-liners, his journey on the show frequently brought tears and emotional moments. Orhan Awatramani, internet sensation and BFF to star kids such as Janhvi Kapoor and Nysa Devgan, has entered the Salman Khan-hosted &lsquo;Bigg Boss 17&rsquo; as a new wildcard.
He shared an update about his eagerly-anticipated appearance on Instagram by sharing pictures from the set of the reality show.
One of the selfies showed Orry with a funny expression as he posed with Salman, who has been riding high on the success of his latest spy film, &lsquo;Tiger 3&rsquo;. Another selfie had Orry and Salman smiling wide as they posed together looking into the camera. In his caption, Orry wrote, &lsquo;Just leaving this here (red siren and SOS emojis).&rsquo;
