A 33-year-old Indonesian fitness influencer, Justyn Vicky died after a barbell he was trying to lift broke his neck. He was working out at a gym in Indonesia's Bali when the accident happened on July 15, Channel News Asia reported.
In a viral video on social media, Justyn Vicky can be seen at the Paradise Bali gym trying a squat press with the barbell on his shoulders. He seems unable to stand upright after going into the squat, according to Channel News Asia reported.
As he tries to hold the weight, he fell back into a sitting position as the barbell dropped on the back of his neck. Justyn Vicky's spotter seems to lose his balance and can be seen falling backwards with him during the incident. Spotter is someone who provides assistance and support during weightlifting.

The G20 meet in Bali, Indonesia, saw world leaders convene in the face of two important conflicts. While the Ukraine-Russia war looms large over all international spaces, the tension - which some call a &lsquo;Cold War&rsquo; - between China and the USA showed signs of thawing in Bali.&nbsp;
Even as Joe Biden and Xi Jinping shook hands, and the G7 leaders convened for an emergency crisis response meeting to the Poland missile crisis, PM Modi had a packed diplomatic schedule. He held bilateral talks with the leaders of UK, France, Italy, and Australia, among others. He also officially took over the G20 Presidency from Indonesia, as New Delhi will host the premier economic forum next year.

As India takes over the G20 presidency, it has a chance to make a big impact on the global diplomatic stage.

The G20 meet in Indonesia this week saw world leaders navigate two important conflicts. The Russia - Ukraine War looms large over all international spaces, but also of note in Bali this year was the thawing of relations between the US and China. PM Modi attended the conference in person, and had a packed schedule, holding bilateral talks with many world leaders in the wake of India&rsquo;s growing importance as an economic centre of power, in an increasingly bipolar world.
Established in 1999 after a series of major international debt crises, the Group of 20 aims to unite world leaders around shared economic, political and health challenges.
China and the US have been competing as two major global power centres for the past few years. This competition has, at times, got ugly. The world's two largest economies were locked in a bitter trade battle that saw them impose tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars worth of one another's goods. They are also embroiled in conflict over the self-ruled country of Taiwan, which China considers an integral internal region, while the US is invested in the country&rsquo;s independence due to its significance in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Tension over Taiwan has frozen much of China-US talks over the last few years. At G20, however, US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping broke the ice, and met for nearly three hours to hash out some of the thorniest issues in their relationship, including the question of Taiwan, the economy and a return to climate negotiations.
Although the reconciliatory comments from both leaders have gone a long way to resume normal ties, they remain competitors in the global arena. Both countries are vying for influence over the Asia Pacific region. Joe Biden took the opportunity of an Indonesia presidency for the G20, to announce a series of initiatives in the region, including efforts to promote electric vehicle use, improve clean-water access and support female entrepreneurs.
However, despite China&rsquo;s slowing growth, many ASEAN countries maintain close economic ties with the country. At the conference, ASEAN countries reiterated their strong ties with China while taking pains not to upset Biden.
The US is increasingly placing India at the centre of its ambition to detach global supply chains from the clutches of China. The Biden administration&rsquo;s top economic diplomat, Treasury Secretary Janet L. Yellen, emphasised that point on a visit to New Delhi.
PM Modi had a packed schedule at the conference, where he took over the G20 presidency from Indonesian President Joko Widodo. He held bilateral talks with many leaders of constituent countries, including his first in-person meeting with new Indian-origin Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak. The two leaders discussed ways to increase commercial linkages, raise the scope of security cooperation in context of India&rsquo;s defence reforms and make people-to-people ties even stronger.
The other leaders PM Modi held talks with included French Prime Minister Emmanual Macron, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and the newly elected Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni.
India will host the conference next year, and the Prime Minister said that the world is looking to India&rsquo;s leadership of this premier economic forum with &lsquo;hope&rsquo;.
India&rsquo;s presidency of the G20 also coincides with its increasing role in the global diplomatic arena. Speculation has been rife that New Delhi could emerge as a mediator in the Russia - Ukraine conflict. Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly called for talks between Moscow and Kyiv, and emphasised that this is not a time for war. The G20 Presidency offers New Delhi an opportunity to expand its diplomatic clout amid grave international threats.&nbsp;

Indonesia on November 15 will host the G20 leaders' summit, gathering the globe's most powerful figures together on the resort island of Bali instead of the traffic-clogged capital Jakarta.
Seventeen world leaders-bar Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the leaders of Mexico and Brazil will seek solutions to myriad global crises on the Muslim-majority country's mostly Hindu "Island of Gods".
Preparations for 20 national delegations, plus other prominent international figures including the heads of the United Nations and FIFA, are in progress, aimed at ensuring the summit passes without incident 20 years after a major bombing killed more than 200 people on the island.
"I have inspected the smallest aspects (of the venues) since this morning. We have checked everything, and I want to convey that we are ready to receive the G20 guests," Indonesian President Joko Widodo said this week, according to state news agency Antara.
The heads of state will move between their 24 designated hotels and the summit venue -- the Apurva Kempinski -- inside a security ring protected by the Indonesian military, with outer rings manned by the country's police force.
The military will deploy 12 warships, 13 helicopters and four fighter jets -- two F16s, a Sukhoi-27 and a Sukhoi-30 -- along with a Boeing reconnaissance aircraft, another Boeing aircraft for VIPs, and two Hercules cargo aircraft, including one for medical evacuations.
As well as facial recognition cameras, police will deploy hundreds of bodycams to protect the Nusa Dua area and 1,700 CCTV cameras will be in operation. Indonesian officials have liaised with US and Chinese delegations about their high-level security needs and said they are sharing intelligence with delegations about any threat to the event.

Bali sits along the infamous "Ring of Fire", the Pacific belt that makes Indonesia one of the most volcanically active countries on Earth. An underwater earthquake off the nearby island of Sumatra in 2004 triggered a tsunami that killed more than 170,000 in Indonesia alone.
The security force being deployed for the coming summit includes 1,500 officers on standby specifically for evacuation operations in the event of a natural disaster.
Police will use tactical vehicles, helicopters, mobile command vehicles and "all-purpose" vehicles to support the security operation and help evacuate leaders in the event of a flood or earthquake.
Balinese authorities have also restricted events including religious activities and traditional ceremonies throughout the summit, particularly for residents near the G20 venues, while many locals have been told to work and study from home.
State electricity firm PLN has even told Bali residents not to fly kites during the event for fear of knocking out power lines.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to put forward India's perspective on addressing key global challenges in areas of health, post-pandemic economic recovery and energy and food security at the G-20 summit in Bali that is taking place in the backdrop of Russia's increasing confrontation with the West over its invasion of Ukraine. "The Bali summit comprises of three working sessions at the leader's level where the prime minister will be participating. These include the sessions on food and energy security, a session on digital transformation, and a session on health," Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said The summit of the world's biggest economies on November 15 and 16 assumes significance for New Delhi as it will see handing over of the G-20 Presidency to India by Indonesia at the closing ceremony of the annual gathering. "India as the next chair would endeavour to provide a greater voice to issues of interest to the global South and steer the G20 agenda in a representative and balanced manner," Kwatra said. Modi is travelling to the Indonesian city on Monday on a three-day visit to participate in the summit which is also set to be attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others. At a media briefing, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said Modi will have separate bilateral meetings with a number of leaders on the sidelines of the summit but did not give a direct reply to questions on whether there will be a meeting with Xi. "These bilateral engagements with the other leaders are still in the process of being scheduled. This is something which remains under evolution," Kwatra said. PM Modi will depart Bali on November 16 on the conclusion of the Bali Summit.
