Now, Ayan Mukherji has reacted to the scrutiny and criticism in a recent interview. In an interview with Indian Express Ayan said 'I thought this would give the film a soul. That the greatest energy comes from within you and the greatest form of energy is when you are in a state of love. It may have sounded better on paper than it came across to certain people.' He gave the example of the song 'Kesariya' that when the song came out came out, he received criticism for the 'Love Storiyan' bit in the song for the first 48 hours. He concluded saying, 'The song continued to be a blockbuster, and nobody talks about it today. So, point noted. But India has a diverse audience.'
Brahmastra released on Sept 9, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjun in pivotal roles.

Now, Ayan Mukerji has reacted to the scrutiny and criticism in a recent interview. Speaking with Indian Express, Ayan said, 'I thought this would give the film a soul. 'Brahmastra’, one of the most anticipated films of the year, is all set to release in theatres on September 9 and makers are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film. Director Ayan Mukerji took to Instagram on Monday and shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the sets. The clip gives us a glimpse of the action and stunt sequences. It features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt rehearsing their action sequences and also Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan’s fight scenes.
Sharing the clip, Ayan wrote that he watched the complete film for the first time on Saturday.‘Where Spirituality meets TECHNOLOGY… 5 DAYS TO GO… Yesterday was the first time, I saw every shot in Brahmāstra - finally finished, polished and ready for its audience! Very emotional moment for me, because of how long and challenging that journey has been, on every single shot, from the drawing board to the big screen! Felt right to share some Behind-the-Scenes today, to celebrate so many years of growing through technology! (and hanging out with blue screens!),' he wrote.
Producer Karan Johar too shared the on social media and wrote, ‘A journey of many years and now in just 5 days, it will all be yours,'Fans are going gaga after getting a sneak peek into the grand action sequences and are hoping that the film performs well at the box office.The advance booking of the movie has reportedly started on a positive note.
