Arijit Singh has announced the postponement of his highly anticipated UK tour, originally scheduled to start on August 11. The beloved playback singer revealed on Instagram that unforeseen medical issues have necessitated this decision. Singh expressed his deep regret and disappointment in a heartfelt message to his fans.
In his Instagram note, Singh wrote, &lsquo;Dear Fans, it pains me to share that unforeseen medical circumstances have forced me to postpone our August concerts. I know how eagerly you were awaiting these shows, and I&rsquo;m truly sorry for the disappointment.&rsquo;
He continued, &lsquo;Your love and support are my strength. Let&rsquo;s turn this pause into a promise of an even more magical reunion.&rsquo;
The new tour dates are now set for September 15 in London, September 16 in Birmingham, September 19 in Rotterdam, and September 22 in Manchester. All tickets purchased for the original dates will remain valid. Singh expressed his gratitude to his fans for their understanding and patience, assuring them that he looks forward to creating unforgettable memories together.
The announcement prompted an outpouring of support from fans, who filled Singh&rsquo;s comments with messages of encouragement and wishes for a speedy recovery.
Arijit Singh was set to begin his UK tour on August 11 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, making him the first South Asian artist to perform at the venue.

Chagla issued an interim order restraining eight online platforms from using Singh&rsquo;s personality rights without consent. Singer Arijit Singh has reacted to &lsquo;gerua&rsquo; controversy that erupted after reports surfaced last year that the police denied permission for his February concert in Kolkata. The BJP had claimed that it was due to Arijit singing a line from the &lsquo;Gerua&rsquo; song &lsquo;rang de tu mohe gerua&rsquo; at Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) 2022.

The event had been attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Prosenjit, Rani Mukerji, Shatabdi Roy, Arijit Singh, Babul Supriyo and other stars.
Later, reports surfaced that Arijit Singh&rsquo;s concert, which was scheduled to be held on February 18, had been cancelled. BJP went on to accuse Mamata Banerjee of being offended by Arijit&rsquo;s choice of song &lsquo;Gerua&rsquo;, as she has always expressed her anger about the &lsquo;saffronisation&rsquo; of Indian politics.
West Bengal minister Firhad Hakim had clarified that the permission for the concert was not granted as a G20 event was also scheduled in the same area.
Dismissing the accusations, TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said that BJP was politicising the issue.

The surprises don&rsquo;t end there! Team 'Ittu Si Baat' has launched their latest song- 'Gulabi' today on Saregama Music YouTube Channel, a soulful celebration of romance.
'Gulabi'&nbsp;features the film&rsquo;s leads Bhupendra Jadawat and Gayatri Bhardwaj, who are entangled in a sweet and innocent shroud of love. The track sees the two declare their intimate feelings in grand fashion, surrounded by picturesque locales. Their fresh and young chemistry is one to watch out for, as the duo dive into each other&rsquo;s love struck eyes.
Talking about the track, composer Vishal Mishra says, 'Falling in love is a wonderful journey, and we have tried to capture the pure essence of that journey in Gulabi. This is a song meant for each and every person who has loved in their life.'

The melody exudes a charming vibe that reminds us of evergreen romance, the lyrics too are poignant yet simple. The sublime tune has been composed by Vishal Mishra, crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Mishra, and penned by Raj Shekhar.

Produced by 'Luka Chuppi' and 'Mimi' director Laxman Utekar, 'Ittu Si Baat' will release in cinemas on June 17, 2022.

Playback singer Arijit Singh&rsquo;s mother who tested Covid-19 positive earlier this month passed away on May 20.
She was undergoing her treatment in a Kolkata hospital where she breathed her last on Thursday morning around 11 am.

Playback singer Arijit Singh&rsquo;s mother Aditi Singh&nbsp;who&nbsp;was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 for quite some time now has breathed her last at a hospital in Kolkata.&nbsp;
The 52-year-old tested negative for the disease on Monday but succumbed to a cerebral stroke late on Wednesday night.&nbsp;
She was admitted in&nbsp;AMRI Dhakuria hospital in&nbsp;Kolkata on May 6 and her condition deteriorated. She was&nbsp;reportedly on life support from the last few days.&nbsp;
