Amid the going spat, the Kerala government has decided to make a big move against the state governor Arif Mohammed Khan.&nbsp;
LDF government plans to bring an ordinance intending to replace the Governor with expert academicians as Chancellor of universities in the state.
A PTI report, quoting sources close to CMO office said, the decision to issue the ordinance was taken in a cabinet meeting.&nbsp;
Calling the tussle unfortunate Thiruvananthpuram MP Shashi Tharoor said both parties must resolve the issue.
Notably, the state government and the Governor has been at the loggerheads over functioning of universities, including appointment of Vice Chancellors, in the state.
On queries whether Governor Arif Mohammed Khan would sign the ordinance, the Kerala's Higher Education minister &nbsp;R Bindu&nbsp;said she hopes that he would act according to his Constitutional duties.

The conditions were tough and saw skiers fell off. Out of the 87 skiers to start the race, only 47 were able to complete both their runs in the tricky conditions.
The 31-year-old skier from Jammu and Kashmir, who is the only Indian athlete at the 2022 Winter Olympics, ended at 53rd in Race 1 with a time of 1 minute 22.35 seconds. In Race 2, he clocked 1:24.89. His combined time was 37.89 seconds behind gold winner Marco Odermatt of Switzerland.
Nevertheless, it was still India's best show at the Winter Olympics in this event.
