He goes on add that if the authorities wanted to arrest him and his associates they should come to their houses and said so instead of launching a crackdown. Amritpal Singh said he would not resisted arrest.&nbsp;
He ends the video by saying that he is not the kind of man who leaves his men behind and therefore he has decided to surrender.&nbsp;

Notably, eight of Amritpal's aides are already lodged in the high-security jail under the National Security Act.

Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann congratulated the state's police for the operation to arrest Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh and also thanked people of the state for maintaining peace and harmony.&nbsp;
He said that he had received the information about the police operation to arrest Amritpal Singh from Rode village in Moga district and added that he closely monitored the developments all night.&nbsp;
