South star Amala Paul welcomed a baby boy with her husband Jagat Desai on June 11. The actor shared the joyous news on Instagram on June 17.
Sharing a heartwarming video, Amala wrote, &lsquo;It's a boy !! Meet our little miracle, ILAI born on 11.06.2024 (sic).&rsquo;
The video shows the couple bringing their baby boy home from the hospital. Although they chose not to show their son&rsquo;s face, the pure joy on Amala&rsquo;s face as she gazes at their newest family member is evident. Their home is beautifully decorated with colourful balloons, creating a festive atmosphere to celebrate this precious occasion.
Following the birth announcement, fans and colleagues congratulated the couple.
The actor had shared photos from her baby shower in April.

Amala Paul was previously married to director AL Vijay, from whom she divorced in 2017. She then married her longtime boyfriend, Jagat Desai, in a private ceremony in Kochi in November 2023. In January 2024, she announced her pregnancy, sharing baby bump photos and other snaps from her photoshoot.
Amala began her acting career with the Malayalam film &lsquo;Neelathamara&rsquo;, marking the start of a successful journey in the South Indian film industry. Actor Amala Paul tied the knot with her boyfriend Jagat Desai in Kochi under Christian rituals.

Actor Amala Paul, who made her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa', has tied the knot with her boyfriend Jagat Desai.
The lavender-themed wedding was held in Kochi under Christian rituals.
Amala took to Instagram to share her wedding pictures and wrote that they are celebrating the love and grace that brought them together. She sought love and blessings as she married her 'divine masculine'.
Amala wrote, &lsquo;Celebrating the love &amp; grace that brought us together. #Married to my divine masculine. Seeking your love and blessings (tiara emoji) (red heart with sparkle emojis) #sacredunion.&rsquo;
The couple can be seen twinning in lavender. While Amala is wearing a top and skirt with a matching statement necklace, the groom wears a lavender dupatta on a white designer kurta-pyjama.
In the first picture, the actor is holding her husband&rsquo;s hand along with a bouquet. In another picture, the couple is smiling as fireworks adorn the rest of the frame.
Jagat also shared another set of pictures from the wedding. He wrote, &lsquo;Two souls, one destiny, walking hand-in-hand with my divine feminine, for the rest of this lifetime. (lavender heart and tiara emojis) #married #twinflame.&rsquo;

Amala Paul was earlier married to Tamil director AL Vijay, but the two divorced, after three years of their wedding, reportedly when her in-laws disagreed with her on continuing her acting career.
