It looks like the box office is once again getting severely affected due to a surge in the number of Covid-19 cases across the country. 
The wait for SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR will be longer as the makers of the film have deferred the release of the film owing to the rise of Covid-19 restrictions in the country.  
The film which stars Ram Charn and Jr NTR and also has special appearances by Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn was scheduled to hit the theatres on January 7, 2022.  The official announcement regarding the same is expected later today.  The makers will be announcing a new release date after assessing the current COVID-19 situation.  
Jersey, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead is another film which has been delayed. It was supposed to release on December 31, 2021, but the makers decided to postpone the film.

'Gangubai Kathiawadi' will have its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival in February next year. The film slated to release in theatres on February 18, 2022.
The festival organisers announced recently that 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is the only Indian film selected this year and will be screened as part of the Berlinale Special, a segment of the film festival which is dedicated to showcase exemplary cinema from across the world.
Speaking about the film's selection, director&nbsp;Sanjay Leela Bhansali said, "The story of Gangubai Kathiawadi has been very close to my heart and me and my team have given it all to make this dream possible. We take pride and honour in showcasing our film at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival."
Bhansali's&nbsp;film chronicles the story of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', who started as a sex worker in Mumbai, but later became an underworld don in the city.
After 'Gully Boy', 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' marks the second outing for an&nbsp;Alia&nbsp;Bhatt&nbsp;film at the Berlin International Film Festival.

South star Thalapathy Vijay's post revealing the first look of his next movie "Beast" was the most re-tweeted and liked tweet from the Indian cinema for the year 2021, Twitter said on Thursday.
Vijay, who had scored a blockbuster with "Master" earlier this year, had posted about the new film in June this year. The post received over 3.42 lakh likes and saw over 10 thousand retweets.

Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, is working as an assistant director on the film. The cast is in Delhi shooting for the film. Farah Khan will choreograph the songs whereas Manish Malhotra has designed the costumes.

The multi-starrer will release in theatres on February 10, 2023.
Sharing a special video from the film&rsquo;s sets, Karan Johar announced the film's release date and wrote, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a love story with the soul of family values'.
In the video, fans got a glimpse into the film's lead characters with&nbsp;Karan Johar&nbsp;in the director's chair, and a sneek&nbsp;peek into all the fun from the set in a behind-the-scenes video.&nbsp;The film looks like a typical&nbsp;Karan Johar&nbsp;film, set in a lavish house.&nbsp;
Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, is working as an assistant director on the film. The cast is in Delhi shooting for the film. Farah Khan will choreograph the songs whereas Manish Malhotra has designed the costumes.

It's wedding season in Bollywood! Quite a few Bollywood celebrity couples have kept their fans guessing, as to when and where will they tie the knot.&nbsp;
While some are yet to reveal their wedding plans, some were forced to push their wedding to next year given the pandemic.&nbsp;
Here's are few celeb couples who we totally wish to see getting married soon.

They met and fell in love on the sets of their upcoming film 'Brahmāstra' and the rest is history.&nbsp;
Since then, reports about their marriage have been doing the rounds, with details trickling out slowly.&nbsp;
From a purported wedding card going viral to the rumours of Alia being a Sabyasachi bride, the conjectures about this lovely couple&rsquo;s wedding has fans hooked.
Ranbir and Alia may have their wedding nuptials next year in January in Mumbai or Rajasthan, as per latest reports.

According to reports, Katrina and Vicky have already had a Roka ceremony at director Kabir Khan&rsquo;s residence in Mumbai on Diwali day.&nbsp;
Reports say Vicky and Katrina&rsquo;s wedding festivities will take place between December 7 and December 9 at Six Senses Fort&nbsp;Barwara, a resort in Sawai&nbsp;Madhopur, located just 30 minutes away from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan.&nbsp;
The couple will reportedly wear ensembles designed by Sabyasachi for their big day.
