At a recent press meeting for the film 'Samrat Prithviraj', Akshay Kumar spoke about his take on the ongoing debate about different film industries in India. Akshay said, "I hate when someone says, 'south industry' and 'north industry'. We are all one industry. The day we understand that we all are one industry, things will start working in the right direction."
When asked about his experience working with Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in the film, Akshay said, "Unbelievable is the term that I would associate to describe the performances of Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt saab". He added, "Not just 'Samrat Prithviraj', I sincerely hope that every film should work at the box office."
Directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, 'Samrat Prithviraj' will be released on 3 June 2022. Besides Akshay Kumar, the film stars the former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar, who makes her Bollywood debut with this film.

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his film 'Samrat Prithviraj,' co-starring Manushi Chillar. At a recent press meeting for his upcoming movie, the actor voiced his opinion on the ongoing North-South debate and said that he hates it when there is distinction within the industry.
'I hate when someone says, 'south industry' and 'north industry'. We are all one industry. The day we understand that we all are one industry, things will start working in the right direction.' he said.
Akshay called his experience of working with Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood 'unbelievable.' 'Unbelievable is the term that I would associate to describe the performances of Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt saab,' he said.
Akshay also spoke about his expectation from the historical drama at the box office and said, 'Not just 'Samrat Prithviraj', I sincerely hope that every film should work at the box office.'
This film marks the Bollywood debut of former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar.
'Samrat Prithviraj' has been produced by Yash Raj Films. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana, and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles.
Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi's directorial, 'Samrat Prithviraj,' will be released in theatres on June 3, 2022.

YRF’s magnum opus ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ got released this week. Akshay Kumar has been paired opposite Manushi Chhillar, who makes her Bollywood debut with this film. 
Speaking to media, Akshay Kumar spoke about his experience of working with Manushi Chhillar. He said, “Manushi is an extremely evolved actress. To play the role of a queen with such confidence is highly commendable. Manushi used to train with Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi at Yashraj Studios for months. Besides learning her dialogues, she also used to remember others’ dialogues."
Speaking about the film, Akshay said, “Samrat Prithviraj’ is not an elaboration of the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The film is about all the things which made him the man he is."
