Apple is likely developing a more affordable AirPods SE/AirPods Lite due to a decline in AirPods 3 demand.

Apple is said to be working on a lower-cost AirPods model named AirPods Lite, or AirPods SE.
This move is said to be taken because the demand for AirPods is projected to drop in 2023 because of weak demand for the AirPods 3.
Apple is also expected to ship 10 million fewer AirPods units this year as compared to 2022. According to <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2023/01/02/apple-reportedly-working-on-airpods-lite-to-compete-with-cheaper-wireless-earbuds/">Jeff Pu</a>, an analyst at Haitong International Securities, AirPods shipments are expected to fall from 73 million in 2022 to 63 million in 2023. This might happen as a result of the company's decision not to release the newest AirPods this year, according to the report.
Previously, Nikkei had reported that Apple ordered its suppliers to shift certain AirPods and Beats headphone manufacturing to India.&nbsp;
The decision was taken as Apple sought to progressively diversify its manufacturing from China in order to reduce the risk of supply chain disruptions.

SharePlay was announced at WWDC as a headline feature for iOS 15, but not available upon the operating system&rsquo;s launch.
iOS 15.1 also brings ProRes video capture for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max users. ProRes is Apple&rsquo;s high-quality video format, which it claims provides a unique combination of editing performance, image quality, and low storage size. The OS update now also allows iPhone users to turn off the automatic switch to macro mode using the ultrawide camera, when getting close to a subject.
The Apple Wallet app now allows for storage of Covid-19 vaccine certificates. The Translate app now supports Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan) support, which is now also supported for system-wide translation.

iOS 15.1 also brings an updated Home app, with new automation triggers based on humidity, air quality, or light level sensors. The update also fixes issues with Photos, Weather, and Wallet apps.
Users can check for the update by going to Settings, General, and Software Update.

Apple has launched new MacBook Pro models at its October 18 &lsquo;Unleashed&rsquo; event. The laptops are available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, and are powered by the new M1 Max and M1 Pro chipsets.
The new Apple Silicon chips are much more powerful than the Apple M1, with the M1 Pro featuring an up to 10-core CPU and up to 16-core GPU coupled with up to 32GB RAM. The M1 Max, meanwhile, takes that further to a 32-core GPU, and up to 64GB RAM. Both laptops also come with up to 8TB storage.

The new MacBook Pro models see the return of HDMI and SDXC card slot ports, along with a MagSafe 3 fast charging adapter. The touchbar is now gone, and replaced with a row of function keys. The laptops also feature three Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Both laptops get a Liquid Retina XDR display with Mini-LED technology, and benefit from ProMotion high refresh rates up to 120Hz. The display area in both laptops extends to the edge on all sides, apart from an iPhone-style notch in the top bezel that houses the new 1080p webcam.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro gets a claimed 17-hour video playback time battery life, while the 16-inch model can keep going for 21 hours.
In India, the 14-inch MacBook Pro is available starting from ₹1,94,900, while the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chipset starts from ₹2,39,900. Both laptops come with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage as base. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chipset, along with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage, starts from ₹3,29,900. All models are available to order now.

Apple also launched the 3rd-generation AirPods, which feature an all-new design styled after the AirPods Pro. The new AirPods get sweat and water resistance, and force sensor touch controls. In India, the 3rd-gen AirPods are priced at ₹18,500, and will be available from October 26.
And finally, Apple also launched new blue, yellow, and orange colours for the HomePod mini wireless speaker. The new colours will be available starting late November, for a price of ₹9,900.
