At the age of 36, Cristiano Ronaldo is far from done after he broke a long-standing international record as he scored twice in Portugal's dramatic 2-1 win over Ireland in World Cup qualifiers. His 110th and 111th goals for Portugal took him past Iran's Ali Daei who previously held the record for most goals in international football.

Ronaldo's twin strikes came in dramatic circumstances. The first goal came in the 89th minute of play as CR7 equalised for Portugal and then scored 6 minutes into injury time to find a stunning winner for his side.

111 international goals for Ronaldo came in 180 appearances for Portugal as he beat the record held by Ali Daei who took just 149 games to set the marker at 110 strikes.

While many believe that Ronaldo's best years are firmly behind him now, the superstar feels that he can play for 3-5 more years. Ronaldo has just signed a new 2-year contract with his former club Manchester United as he returns to the Premier League.
