OnePlus announces optimized charging feature

OnePlus has announced on its user forums that the company has been working on an Optimized Charging feature, that'll charge OnePlus devices in a manner that promotes battery health in the long run. The feature will reportedly charge a smartphone to 80%, and only charge to full 100 minutes before it anticipates a user will wake up and unplug the device. The phone will learn charging patterns based on usage and first alarms or first events in order to accurately predict when to charge the device to full. It's worth noting that Apple has provided a similar process for its iPhones with iOS 13 released in September last year.
