Mahindra XUV700 launched in India; Prices announced for select variants

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the XUV700 SUV with prices starting at Rs. 11.99 lakh for the base MX petrol variant, while the MX diesel has been priced at Rs. 12.49 lakh. The AX3 petrol trim is priced ₹ 13.99 lakh while the AX5 petrol variant has been at Rs. 14.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Do note, these are the starting prices for the XUV700 and the company will add more diesel variants and the top-spec AX7 variant to the line-up over the next couple of weeks. The Mahindra XUV700 is the brand’s new flagship offering and is larger than the XUV500. The feature list is extensive and the model packs the new AdrenoX user interface, Sony-powered 3D sound system, panoramic sunroof, 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, and more. The model also gets Level 1 ADAS technology. Engine options include the 2.0-litre turbo petrol with 197 bhp. There’s also the 2.2-litre turbo diesel that’s available in 2 states of tune - 153 bhp and 182 bhp. Mahindra will offer the model with manual and automatic transmission options with optional all-wheel drive.
