Champions League: Messi, Neymar & Mbappe fail to score as Club Brugge hold PSG to a draw

Paris Saint Germain’s formidable trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe was dispirited by the valiant effort of Club Brugge in a 1-1 draw in the Champions League on Wednesday. Messi made his 150th appearance in the competition but failed to score as Ander Herrera sublime shot assisted by Mbappe was the only goal by PSG. Brugge claimed the equalizer in the 27th minute thanks to a huge deflection by Kimpembe on a shot from Vanaken that helped the ball land inside the net.

Before today’s match Messi had just taken the field just once for PSG. Despite monopolized possession from the beginning, PSG failed to capitalize on their start as the Belgian champions gradually enjoyed the spells of pressure.
