Amazon has announced that India’s first celebrity voice featuring Amitabh Bachchan is available on Alexa.

Indian users can add the superstar’s cult baritone voice to their Echo smart displays and speakers by pressing the mic icon on their TV remotes and also the Amazon shopping app.

Though, there’s one catch. The feature is available to the Android users for now.

You can enable the feature on your Echo devices, with an introductory price of Rs 149 per year.

You can simply give a command saying, “Alexa, introduce me to Amitabh Bachchan” to make the purchase. Then, you can interact with him using the wake word “Amit Ji”.

You will also have access to handpicked content by Amitabh Bachchan. You can listen to stories from his life, a selection of poems by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, tongue twisters, motivational quotes, and a lot more.

Just imagine how cool it is! You can ask “Amit Ji” to play songs for you, set an alarm to wake you up, even get him to say a joke.

Not just that, you can also ask Amitabh Bachchan to wish you on your birthday by saying, “Amit ji, it’s my birthday”.
