Indian telecom giant Airtel has launched its Xstream box and Xstream Stick streaming devices in India. The Xstream 4K Hybrid Box replaces the Airtel Digital TV service, and users will have access to satellite TV and online content for an annual subscription cost of ₹999. The set top box itself costs ₹3,999 and existing Airtel Digital TV customers can get it at a discounted price of ₹2,249. The Xstream Stick is the company's answer to the Amazon Fire TV stick, and comes with the an Android 8.0 Oreo interface, but doesn't provide access to DTH channels. For ₹3,999, the Xstream Stick runs on a 1.6GHz processor, and gets an annual subscription for ₹999.
