OnePlus has confirmed that it will release a new dedicated app for its OnePlus Buds that will support older smartphones as well as devices from other companies. Currently, only OnePlus 7 users and above can receive firmware updates for the OnePlus Buds. The company said that the companion app will support third-party Android phones that run Android 6.0 and above.
