IPL 2022, RR vs RCB Live Score, Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL Match 39 Live Score:
Rajasthan Royals' bowlers presented their A-game as they helped their team win the 3rd consecutive match on Tuesday evening. Rajasthan on the back of Kuldeep Sen and R Ashwin's superb performances defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 29 runs. This is RCB's 2nd consecutive loss.
RCB's top-order failed once again as the team was all-out for 115 in 19.3 overs, making it their lowest 2nd innings score in IPL 2022. It was a flop show by RCB as Faf du Plessis was their top scorer with just 23 in 21 balls. The team later pinned its hope on Shahbaz Ahmed but he was also removed after he added a mere 17 in 27 balls. While Kuldeep Sen collected 4 wickets, Ashwin got 3 for Rajasthan.
In the first innings, a sensible batting approach by Riyan Parag helped RR post a modest 144 run total after the team's top-order faltered miserably in front of RCB's mighty bowling front. Parag held the fort as wickets kept falling on the other end. With his 56* in 31 balls, Parag was Rajasthan's top scorer. Siraj, Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga got 2 wickets each, and Harshal patel managed 1.
Earlier, Faf du Plessis-led-Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the toss and decided to bowl first against Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their second meeting in Match 39th of the Indian Premier League 2022 (IPL 2022) at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune on Tuesday.
