As per the weather department, May 18 is expected to display a generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers.

There is a more than 80% chance of precipitation predicted in the evening during the game.

If the match were to be called off due to incessant rains, RCB will have to bear the loss as they will end up with points lesser than their rivals.

Delhi Capitals, who won against LSG on May 14, have 14 points and so do CSK. Meanwhile, Bengaluru have 12 points from 13 games.

But if the game on Saturday concludes without any result, RCB will be awarded 13 points while Chennai will end with 15 to sail through to the playoffs.
