IPL 2024 points table: SRH make huge strides, big trouble for LSG | SRH vs LSG

The Sunrisers Hyderabad gave their playoff hopes a huge boost on Wednesday as they thrashed the Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets to jump to the 3rd spot with 14 points from 12 games on IPL 2024 points table.

LSG on the other hand took another dent to their net run rate and stayed at the 6th position after 2 consecutive losses.

The Kolkata Knight Riders are leading the points table with 8 wins in 11 outings but with a better net run rate that RR.

The Rajasthan Royals are in the 2nd spot with 16 points after as they were handed their 2nd-consecutive defeat by the Delhi Capitals on Tuesday.

There's a big muddle in the middle as apart from LSG, CSK and DC are also locked at 12 points each. It's just that Chennai have played a game less.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are on the 7th spot after a hat-trick of wins lifted them up from the bottom.

Punjab Kings are on the 8th position with 7 losses from 11 matches, the same as RCB.

9th-placed Mumbai Indians became the first team to be knocked out of IPL 2024 as they have lost 8 games from 12 outings.

Whereas the Gujarat Titans are at the bottom of the points table with just 8 points from 11 games.
