IPL 2023: Virat Kohli shares a photo hugging MS Dhoni after CSK clash and fans are loving it

When two stalwarts of the sport meet, fans of cricket are bound to be overwhelmed. And when they are MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, words fall short to describe the emotion.

That's exactly what happened on Monday when RCB faced Chennai Super Kings in Bengaluru.

During the post-match customary greetings, cricketing greats Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni shook hands and hugged each other, sending fans into a frenzy.

The two then stood and chatted with each other for a while. A day after their meeting, Virat took to social media and shared a photo of their hug.

The match on April 17 was an emotional one for fans and players alike with speculations of Dhoni playing his last IPL this year doing the rounds. It was perhaps one of the last times, Virat Kohli and Dhoni took to the field to play against each other in the tournament.
