2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Launched In India

Mercedes-Benz has launched the new-generation C-Class in India. Prices start at Rs. 55 Lakh for the C 200, going up to Rs. 61 lakh for the top-spec C 300d variant. All prices are ex-showroom India. The fifth-generation C-Class arrives with three engine options that include the 1.5-litre turbo petrol as well as a 2.0-litre diesel engine in two states of tune. All three engines also get an integrated starter generator with EQ Boost, which provides an additional 15 bhp of extra power and 200 Nm of extra torque. The new C-Class is heavily inspired by the S-Class in terms of design and arrives in two styling trims - AMG and Avant Garde. The luxury sedan has also grown in proportions and is now 10 mm wider than its predecessor with a 25 mm longer wheelbase. The legroom has also increased considerably. The cabin is also tech-laden with the latest generation MBUX based on NTG 7, connected car technology, ADAS systems and more. The new C-Class will take on the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Volvo S60 and the likes in the segment.
