2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Launched in India; Check price and features

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 WagonR in India with prices starting at Rs. 5.40 lakh for the base 1.0-litre LXI variant, going up to Rs. 7.10 lakh for the range-topping ZXI+ dual-tone automatic variant.

The dual-tone body colour is a first for the hatchback and it also now comes with alloy wheels in the top-end variant. There are two new dual-tone colours on the ZXi+ variant Gallant Red with Black roof and Magma Grey with Black roof.

Inside, the new WagonR continues with the dual-tone theme. It continues to get the 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, which has been updated with cloud-based services to offer app-based connected car features. Mechanically, the car remains the same with the 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engines on offer.

Maruti claims the new model is about 16 per cent more efficient and returns a claimed fuel economy of 25.19 kmpl. The CNG variant is also said to be 5 per cent more efficient than before.
