According to studies, people who often use soaps that have fruity or floral fragrances attract mosquitoes.

This finding was published in the journal iScience. It was mentioned in the study that certain types of soaps can affect a person's attractiveness to mosquitoes.

The lead researcher of the study, Clement Vinauger, said that "altering soap scents can either enhance or diminish the attraction of individuals who already have a higher-than-average appeal to mosquitoes."

It was concluded in the study that soap is one of many factors that increases mosquito attraction.
