Croatian authorities on March 19 exploded a Nazi ship mine which was buried in the seabed near a key port.
According to media reports, the explosion took place at the Adriatic Sea port where the mine was first discovered in June 2022.
Around 500 locals staying in the vicinity were evacuated ahead of the operation. Sea traffic was diverted and the area was secured during the removal of 690 kg explosives, as per reports.
The video of the massive explosion shows water splashing up in the air forming a gigantic fountain.

Shared by RRR movie's official Twitter handle, the clip that has now gone viral shows people enjoying the song while the parked cars are flashing headlights and taillights to the beats of 'Naatu Naatu.' Meanwhile, people can be seen dancing, cheering and hooting.

For the last 2-3 years, Tesla has been doing similar light shows to mark special occasions.
The electric car maker uses car lights and speakers for the light show. Tesla in 2021 had come up with this initiative of mini concerts using its electric cars' lights.
At the 95th Academy Awards, the foot-tapping chartbuster &ldquo;Naatu Naatu&rdquo;, composed by MM Keeravaani and penned by Chandrabose, made the Telugu feature film the first Indian production to bring home the golden statuette.
The song was also performed at the Oscars ceremony by singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, "RRR" is a pre-independence fictional story following two real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR) in the 1920s.

Pilot and aerobatics expert Luke Czepiela from Poland reportedly did 650 practice landings before the attempt. The video shows the plane touching down on the narrow helipad, and after initial hiccups, the plane comes to a halt and takes off from there.

Adventure tourism at Varkala beach turned a harrowing experience for a tourist from Tamil Nadu on Tuesday afternoon after she and her paragliding instructor got entangled on a more than 50-metre tall high-mast lamp pole and were left hanging from it for nearly two hours before being rescued.
As the Fire department did not have a ladder which was not tall enough, the rescue plan was to lower the columns of the high mast to bring them to safety and as a precautionary measure mattresses and nets were placed at the bottom of the pole, police said.
Thereafter, the pole was lowered and the 28-year old woman and the paragliding instructor were rescued, police said.
Both of them have been admitted to the Taluk Hospital in Varkala and are safe, police said.
The mishap occurred when the paragliders, who took off from a helipad at Varkala, were blown towards the high mast lamp pole due to a sudden change in wind direction, police said.
The glider got entangled in the pillar and both gliders were trapped hanging from the top of it.
The public alerted the police and fire service personnel when they saw the gliders hanging from the pillar.
Police said the paragliding instructor belonged to Varkala and the woman was a tourist from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

The Ministry of Railways recently gave first glimpse of its latest luxurious train Bharat Gaurav Deluxe which is bound for the North East.
The deluxe AC train departed from New Delhi on March 21 to complete a circuit under the theme North East discovery beyond Guwahati.
The train is reportedly on a 15-day tour to the region during which it will cover Guwahati, Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Kaziranga in Assam; Unakoti, Agartala, and Udaipur in Tripura; Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland; and Shillong and Cherapunji in Meghalaya&nbsp; . With a capacity of 156 tourists, the train has a mini library, fine dining facility restaurant and other modern amenities including sensor based washroom, shower cubicles in coaches. The inside view of the lavish train which has AC-1 and AC-2 accomodations will certainly give you 5-star hotel feels.
The train fare ranges from ₹ 1,06,990 per person in AC 2-tier, ₹ 1,31,990 per person in AC-1 cabins, and ₹ 1,49,290 per person in an AC-1 coupe which includes hotel stays, train journeys, sight seeing, travel insurance, meals, NDTV reported.
