Valentine's Day 2023: Goblin-timacy is the latest dating trend; here's what you need to know

The word 'Goblin' garnered much popularity in 2022 as it was named 'word of the year' by Oxford English Dictionary. And for those who are living under a rock, it means when a person is unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, or greedy, typically in a way that rejects social norms or expectations.

Well, Goblin mode is actually being your real self without trying too hard and thus there comes the 'Goblin-timacy' dating trend.

In this dating trend, you don't need to try hard on the first date, in fact; you have to just be your authentic self. According to a forecast done by the dating app Badoo, it was revealed that 76% of singles said that they felt more comfortable dating on their own terms outside of societal expectations.
