Netizens are debating on Reddit and X and have found a fresh reason to throw jibes at Vance. Though JD Vance himself has neither confirmed nor denied about it, one of the users wrote on X

‘I just put on eyeliner for the first time since JD Vance was announced as Trump’s running mate and now, I am wondering if I look like him. The dude has single-handedly ruined eye makeup for me.’

Another one poked at Vance saying

‘I don’t mind that JD Vance chooses to wear eyeliner. I have male friends who do drag. It’s fine. I mind that his kind think it’s evil for men to wear makeup and calls them groomer child rapists if they do. It’s the judgmental hypocrisy that upsets me.’

Photo journalist Zach D Roberts also posted a photo of Vance on X and admitted that he "thought people were joking about" it but after clicking the photos of Vance, he was completely convinced that “he does indeed wear eyeliner.”

Roberts also mentioned that he had zero problem with cis men wearing makeup, and, in fact, it’s encouraged but Vance wearing it is pretty hypocritical.

In an interview with The List, hair and makeup artist Luna Viola said that as Vance has a "very dark, perfect thick eyelashes, this can create the optical illusion of a black eyeliner, especially if contrasted with blue eyes. The natural contrast can make the lashes darker than they are."
