1. Electronic gadgets: A GPS system or a smartphone with GPS and a power bank with numerous USB ports is important while travelling.

2. Comfortable clothing: Carry comfortable clothes according to the climate of the place you are travelling to. Keeping extra pair of layers is recommended for fluctuating temperatures.

3. Entertainment: Without some type of fun and recreation, road trips can be boring. Make sure that you download your favourite shows and playlists or pack your favourite books and games before heading out.

4. Snacks and drinks: Carrying crackers, granola bars, dry fruits and nuts and other healthy snacks is always wise to avoid eating out and risking your health. Also carry enough drinking water so that you do not have to buy plastic bottles.

5. First aid and toilet kit: A first-aid kit with bandages, antiseptic cream, pain relievers, sunscreen and bug repellents is a smart addition. Stock up on necessary toiletries also like a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, wet wipes, and hand sanitizers.

6. Emergency car kit: It is crucial to keep an emergency car kit handy at all times. A torch, extra batteries, a blanket and a small toolbox ought to be included.

7. Cash and Cards: Always have adequate cash on hand as well as debit and credit cards, for any unforeseen expenses.
