'Rat Girl Summer' is the latest self-care trend; know all about it

Self-care trends are taking over social media and the recent one that is garnering all the attention of people is 'Rat Girl Summer' trend. Notably, this trend has nothing to do with animals.

In this trend, people need to go outside, nibble on snacks, and do something unusual that they would otherwise not do in their regular daily life.

This trend shot to fame when TikTok user @Lolaokola shared a video about it. She talked about the rules of this trend said, "You cannot scurry in bed. You cannot scurry on your couch. You need to leave your home. You have 2 days a week allotted for decaying, do all your scrolling, do all your binge-watching and do all your rotting in bed on those 2 days."

She also said that people should not worry about what they are consuming. This trend allows you to eat whatever you want and to enjoy to the fullest.

Other than this, one does not need to overthink and just relax and do stupid things that they wouldn't do otherwise.

Several social media users shared videos while practicing this trend. They said that this trend is making them feel more alive.
