Jacqueline and Riteish named as PETA India's most beautiful vegetarian celebrities 2024

Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Riteish Deshmukh have been named India's 'Most Beautiful Vegetarian Celebrities' of 2024 by PETA India. This recognition highlights their commitment to animal welfare and a compassionate lifestyle.

In a statement, PETA praised Fernandez for using her immense star power to advocate for the protection of all animals. She has encouraged her fans to support PETA India's initiatives in various ways. Fernandez has also promoted the adoption of dogs from shelters, advocated for vegan diets, starred in an ad campaign against the use of angora wool, and urged people to avoid horse-drawn carriages.

Meanwhile, Riteish promotes vegan eating and even co-founded a vegan meat company with his wife Genelia.

Past winners of the title, formerly known as the Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity Award until 2020, include notable names such as Zeenat Aman, Jackie Shroff, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rajkummar Rao, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Manushi Chhillar, Sunil Chhetri, Anushka Sharma, Kartik Aaryan, Vidyut Jammwal, Shahid Kapoor, Rekha, and Amitabh Bachchan.
