      The first edition of HELLO! India Art Awards took place on 25th April 2022. Many eminent artists including Bose Krishnamachari, Kiran Nadar, Mandeep Raikhy and ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, among others, attended the event.

      The Awards appreciated the works of established artists, upcoming talent, individual and group exhibitions and galleries. The winners were decided by a four-member jury comprising Bengaluru-based art collector Abhishek Poddar, noted art historian Tasneem Zakaria Mehta, founder of the Devi Art Foundation Lekha Poddar, and art expert Rahaab Allana.

      Young Artist of the Year: Divya Singh
      Artist Book of the Year: Indu Antony
      Collaboration of the Year: The Barbil Art Project
      Public Art Initiative of the Year: Mandeep Raikhy
      Curator of the Year: Bose Krishnamachari
      Breakthrough Artist of the Year: Sajan Mani
      Exhibition of the Year: Bose Krishnamachari
      Critical Voice of the Year: Baaraan Ijlal

      Apart from these, HELLO! also honoured the 'legends of art' for their inimitable body of work, and for their promotion of arts, artists and the art world. The awards and the respective winners under these categories comprised:

      Art Patron of the Year: Kiran Nadar
      Sustained Promotion of Arts & Culture: Sabyasachi Mukherjee
      Lifetime Achievement Award: Krishen Khanna
