According to experts, there are certain items of clothing that one should avoid wearing to bed as they can have negative health implications. Tight or restrictive clothing can disrupt blood circulation and impair sleep quality, while fabrics that do not breathe well may lead to overheating and discomfort during the night. It's advisable to opt for loose-fitting, breathable sleepwear to promote a restful night's sleep and overall well-being.

Wearing this item to bed can be worse than sleeping on a toilet seat

This clothing item could be the filthiest and should be avoided in bed. According to researchers people should not wear dirty socks to bed because they often contain the same bacteria found in cockroaches and their fecal droppings.

UK's mattress and bed online specialists Mattress Next Day asked 1,017 people in Britain about how they sleep, and found out that 18% of them go to bed with their socks on.

The researchers swabbed stinky socks worn by people and found that half of them contained aeruginosa — a type of bacteria that infects the airway and urinary tract and causes infection of human lungs.

It was also discovered that some socks were even filthier than uncleaned TV remotes and toilet seats.
