Walnuts are powerhouse of nutrients and are extremely rich in proteins, antioxidants, calcium and many more. But did you know that their outer shells are equally beneficial to health?

Digital content creator, Armen Adamjan shared about walnut shell tea on Instagram which has several health benefits.

So, next time you eat walnuts don't throw the shells and instead clean and boil them in water for about 30 minutes. Once the water turns into honey brown colour strain it and drink.

Experts also agree that walnut shell tea strengthens immunity, gut health and keeps away cold and cough.

In this video, he also claimed that walnut shell powder is also beneficial for exfoliating skin and fertilizing plants.
