FDA to probe Logan Paul's energy drink 'Prime' for containing as much caffeine as 6 cans of Coke

YouTube star Logan Paul's energy drink PRIME is currently under scrutiny as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is being asked to probe this energy drink.

This drink is under the radar of the FDA because of containing high caffeine content which is close to 6 cans of Coke.

Notably, this drink is highly popular among children and according to the authorities this drink can be a major health concern for kids.

PRIME offers two distinct products: a hydration drink and an energy drink. The hydration drink resembles popular beverages like Gatorade and Powerade, providing a refreshing and replenishing experience.

The energy drink, on the other hand, comes in various flavours and contains a powerful dose of 200 mg of caffeine within a 12 oz can. To put it into perspective, this amount is roughly equivalent to consuming almost six cans of Coca-Cola.

Since its launch last year, PRIME gained immense popularity in no time, leading to extensive queues in grocery stores. Reports also showed secondary markets emerging within schoolyards for its resale.
