Goji berries, also known as wolfberries, are small red berries that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. They are packed with nutrients and offer several potential health benefits.

Recently, nutritionist Lovneet Batra shared the benefits of goji berries on her Instagram.

1- The antioxidants present in goji berries can help support a healthy immune system, protecting the body against infections and illnesses.

2- The high antioxidant content in goji berries is believed to have anti-ageing effects, which help in reducing oxidative stress and promote youthful-looking skin.

3- Goji berries contain high levels of zeaxanthin, an antioxidant that is beneficial for eye health. Zeaxanthin helps protect the eyes from harmful UV rays and may reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration and other eye disorders.

4- It is a great source of nutrients, including vitamins and minerals. Goji berries contain long-chain carbohydrates which are called polysaccharides. These compounds play a role in regulating blood sugar in the most effective manner and help treat type 2 diabetes.
