Deepika's journey as an investor began in 2017 with the founding of her own investment firm, KA Enterprises LLP. Her first investment was in Furlenco, a furniture rental platform, within 18 months of establishing the firm.

Deepika's investment portfolio extends to the beauty and skincare sector as well. In 2018, she took part in Purplle's Series B funding round, which raised $2.63 million. Purplle is an Indian multi-brand skincare and beauty retailer.

In 2019 Deepika made an undisclosed investment in Drum Foods International Pvt. Ltd., the company behind the popular Epigamia brand, during a Series C funding round.

Deepika has also backed the electric taxi startup BLU-Smart, investing $3 million in their funding round, alongside other investors.

Deepika has also backed Bellatrix Aerospace, a Bengaluru-based space-tech startup, participating in their $3 million pre-Series A funding round in 2019.

Another investment in Deepika's diverse portfolio is Mokobara, a brand known for its contemporary suitcases, luggage, duffels, backpacks, and bags, which received her backing in 2020.

In 2021, Deepika participated in a pre-Series B funding round for Nua, a brand focused on enhancing menstrual hygiene and comfort. The round was led by Lightbox and raised $7.1 million.

In 2022, Deepika co-founded 82°E, a skincare brand that blends Indian ingredients with cutting-edge scientific formulations. The brand secured a strong start, raising $7.5 million in seed funding from investors like DSG Consumer Partners and IDEO Investors.

Recognising the growing demand for pet-focused services, Deepika invested $2.6 million in Supertails, a comprehensive platform dedicated to improving the lives of pets and their owners.

Atomberg, a company aspiring to become the Tesla of home appliances in India, also caught Deepika's eye, receiving an undisclosed investment from the star.

Deepika's keen eye for promising ventures has also led her to invest in Blue Tokai Coffee, India's fastest-growing specialty coffee brand with a growing network of roasteries and cafes nationwide.
