Also the humidity in the air cause too much sweating, especially in our feet. This results in stinky feet as well as smelly shoes.

A bad smell from shoes can be generated by heavy perspiration, and If you're looking to get rid of the bad odour in your shoes, here are some tips you can try.

1- Expose your shoes to direct sunlight to let them dry optimally.

2- Always wear stockings or socks, so that their fabric can absorb the sweat from your feet.

3- Sprinkle some baking soda inside your shoes and let it sit overnight. Baking soda absorbs odours effectively.

4- Dampen a cloth with white vinegar and wipe the interior of your shoes with it. Vinegar helps kill bacteria and neutralize odours.

5- Add a few drops of tea tree oil to a cotton ball and place it inside your shoes. Tea tree oil has natural antimicrobial properties and can help eliminate odour-causing bacteria

6- Insert fresh citrus peels, like orange or lemon, into your shoes. They provide a pleasant aroma and help neutralize odours.
