Say goodbye to itchy and dry skin this winter with these simple tips

In winters most of us face dry and itchy skin. Here are some tips that will help you get rid it.

Tips to keep your skin moisturised this winter

Take shorter showers- Taking long hot showers can strip off natural oils. Bathe with lukewarm water for a shorter interval.

Moisturise immediately after showering- Moisturise your skin immediately after showering. This will seal in the moisture and keep your skin hydrated.

Use a humidifier- Dry air makes itchy skin worse. Using a humidifier will add moisture to your skin and will keep it hydrated.

Choose a thick moisturiser- Use a thick oil-based moisturiser.

Wear gloves- Wear gloves while going out and make sure to apply moisturiser before putting them on.

Avoid scratching- Avoid scratching dry and itchy areas. Instead, visit a skin expert for that.
