Ranbir-Alia Wedding: Decoding the D-day look of the bride and groom

Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on April 14. For the big day, Alia wore an ivory Sabyasachi drape with a matching half-sleeved blouse. According to Sabyasachi’s Instagram, the sari was embroidered with fine tilla work and was paired with an embroidered handwoven tissue veil. While the groom, Ranbir Kapoor, wore an ivory embroidered silk Sabyasachi sherwani with uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa and a zari embroidered shawl.

Alia paired her outfit with gold choker, bangles and jhumkas by Sabyasachi. She opted for a half-up, half-down hairstyle for her D-day. When it comes to her makeup, Alia opted for a no-makeup, minimal look that included a natural base, some lightly contour on the cheeks and nude lips.
