Met Gala 2023: Alia looked nothing but an angel in Prabal Gurung's white pearl gown

The fashion industry's biggest night is here and designers, fashion icons and the entertainment industry stars walked the red carpet dressed in their bests.

Making her debut, actor Alia Bhatt wore Prabal Gurung's pearl white gown and looked just like an angel. The actor shared a post on Instagram sharing details about her dress. The embroidery is made with a 100,000 pearls.

She was styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania. Keeping it simple she wore minimal jewellery and the glove on her right hand was an ode to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld.

The event is being held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, the ball is being hosted by Vogue's Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour along with co-chairs Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz, Swiss tennis player Roger Federer and Dua Lipa.
