'Grandma's old couch fabric': Sonam Kapoor's Burberry look gets disapproval from fans, see reactions

Actor Sonam Kapoor recently attended the final match of the Wimbledon Championships. She attended the match in style and wore a green outfit from Burberry’s Resort 2024 collection.

Sonam shared the pictures of her look on Instagram with a caption that reads,

"On my way to Wimbledon in style, donning a fabulous preview from Daniel Lee's resort 24 collection for @burberry and of course, I can't forget the latest addition to my wardrobe – the stunning Burberry knight bag from the new season. Game, set, match, and fashion-forward!"

Kapoor's ensemble had distorted Prince of Wales checks. To enhance the striking pattern, she combined it with matching stockings. However, to balance the overall look, she carefully selected accessories.

She opted for black sunglasses and stilettos, which provided a contrasting touch, along with a black Burberry bag featuring exquisite gold detailing. Kapoor maintained a minimalistic approach to her jewellery, wearing dime-sized gold hoops from the London-based brand Otiumberg.

However, her outfit got instant disapproval from social media users. Several internet users made fun of her and said that her outfit is looking like their grandma's old couch fabric.
