Global icon Priyanka Chopra wears a saree to host pre-Oscar event

Priyanka Chopra is a global icon. After making a mark in Bollywood, she has managed to woo the Hollywood audiences with her sheer dedication, hard work and stellar performances. She is an actress who has never shied away from talking about her roots and humble beginnings. She has always been pretty vocal about her love for her culture and background.

Recently, she hosted the pre-Oscar event, wherein she had donned a gorgeous black saree for the occasion. She also wore this traditional Indian attire at many international events. Back in 2012, Priyanka wore a Ritu Kumar saree at the closing ceremony of the ‘2012 Marrakech Film Festival’. And more recently, she had worn an ivory-coloured saree at the ‘2019 Marrakech International Film Festival’. She even donned a powder pink saree on the occasion of the wedding of Joe Jonas- her brother-in-law.
