From Zendaya to Dua Lipa, platform heels are Hollywood celebrities' latest obsession

In the last couple of months, we have witnessed the rising popularity of platform shoes; be it heels, boots or sandals. Several high-end luxury brands including Versace and Valentino have also showcased platform heels and chunky footwear on runway shows and soon these shoes became a must-have for every fashionista.

Recently, Khloe Kardashian took the fashion trend to another level with her sky-high lace-up boots. Besides Khloe, Lady Gaga, who is also known as the queen of quirky fashion wore black platform boots. It seems like platform shoes are Hollywood celebrities' go-to trend and A-listers including Bella Hadid, Zendaya and Dua Lipa have proved it well. They were also a staple at recently heald major red-carpet events.

Although several fashion enthusiasts have a love-hate relationship with platform shoes, with some calling them the ugly footwear trend, they are undoubtedly way more comfortable than stiletto heels.
