Aishwarya Rai picks dramatic outfit for Cannes 2024

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her Cannes debut in 2002 and since then has been consistent at the Film Festival. For her 2024 appearance, the diva picked a Falguni Shane and Peacock dress. The ensemble featured dramatic sleeves and a poufy skirt. The red-carpet-worthy outfit got mixed reactions on social media.

While some were impressed, some were not convinced with her stylist. Many netizens asked her to fire her stylist.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted for a pair of statement earrings and basic makeup. The diva is attending the film festival despite an injury. She was seen wearing a plaster cast on her right hand.

According to a note by the designers, Aishwarya's outfit was inspired by her gorgeous eyes. A part of the note read, "The blueish-green tint of her eyes has inspired us to incorporate azure into the gown, adding a touch of her exquisite gaze to the ensemble."
