According to a recent survey, 60 per cent of residents of Mumbai and Delhi want to relocate to other cities? The reason? Increasing air pollution and traffic jams. Despite the high AQI, only 27 per cent of individuals use air purifiers. Read on to know more!

Air pollution has sharply risen in metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai. From breathing problems to shortness of breath, residents of these metro cities are trying to cope with the increasing levels of pollution. According to the latest reports, residents of Delhi and Mumbai, around 60 per cent of them, are considering moving out to escape the pollution and traffic jams. Healthcare provider Pristyn Care conducted the study recently.
Around 4000 residents living in Delhi and Mumbai participated in the survey. According to the study, 9 out of 10 residents have suffered prevalent symptoms linked to the deteriorating Air Quality Index (AQI) in the cities. The symptoms include persistent coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing, sore throat, and watery or itchy eyes.
The study also revealed that an approx 40 per cent of 4000 participants complained of worsening pre-existing respiratory conditions like asthma or bronchitis. The report further revealed that 4 in 10 residents from the top two metro cities seek medical attention annually/ in a gap of a few years due to respiratory issues arising from air pollution.
35 per cent of the participants stated that they have stopped doing outdoor activities like running and jogging, while another 30 per cent said that they started wearing masks when outdoors.
Despite the increasing air pollution, only 27 per cent of individuals in Delhi and Mumbai acknowledged using air purifiers while a shocking 43 per cent still thought that air purifiers reduce immunity!

Huma Qureshi debuts as an author at Bangalore Literature Festival, introducing 'Zeba: An Accidental Superhero,' a fantasy fiction triumph set between 1992-2019.

Actor Huma Qureshi has turned author with her debut novel titled &lsquo;Zeba: An Accidental Superhero&rsquo;. She launched her book at the 12th edition of the Bangalore Literature Festival (BLF) on December 2.
Talking about the book, Huma said that the book is a fantasy fiction novel set very specifically between 1992 and 2019. It talks about a make-believe kingdom and an evil king and how a girl named Zeba defeats him with her superpowers.
The actor also shared glimpses of the event on her social media.
According to PTI, Huma said that she started writing &lsquo;Zeba: An Accidental Superhero&rsquo; during Covid-imposed break. &ldquo;I started this book during Covid. I used to wake up every morning, take a shower, work out and then sit down to write. And I call this stream of consciousness writing &ndash; just sit down with a laptop and keep writing,&rdquo; the actor said.

Every bride wants to glow and look their best on their big day. To look your finest on your D day, preparations need to begin way early. Here are some tips for the bride-to-be by dermatologist Dr. Aanchal Panth that will surely help you achieve that much-needed bridal glow.
<h3>Skincare tips for bride-to-be:</h3>
1. Make moisturiser and sunscreen your best friend
While moisturiser and sunscreen are an indispensable part of your skincare routine, make sure to incorporate them way ahead of your wedding. Make sure to never skip this step!
You can also add serums containing, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid to your skincare routine.
2. No experimenting before 'THE' day
Make sure you do not explore any new skin treatments or homemade remedies at least a month before your wedding. Avoid introducing a new ingredient to your skin as you do not know how it may react with your skin.
You can go for waxing or hair removal methods up to 10 days before the event.
3. Use clay mask
If you are suffering from oily face problems, opt for a clay mask. Make sure to not ignore and invest in good and light face washes and moisturisers.
4. Avoid milk and sugar
Another thing that you should avoid days before the wedding is milk and sugar. Have two bowls of fresh fruits and juices. Be hydrated and consume at least 2 L of water.
