They are offering 'afterlife payment' and the scheme will be available to 666 clients who sign a legally enforceable agreement revising their wills to defer payments until after they die.&nbsp;
However, New Zealand's Consumer Protection Authorities have warned about this scheme and said that it is potentially addictive and can lead to debt difficulties.&nbsp;

World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2023:&nbsp; Around 73 per cent of women want companies to allow them to take menstrual leaves while 71.7 per cent of the survey participants do not want the menstrual leaves to be paid.&nbsp;

A survey conducted by Everteen ahead of the global Menstrual Hygiene Day found that around 73 per cent of women want companies to allow them to take menstrual leaves.
More than 10,000 women aged 18 to 35 participated in the survey from different cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru among others.
The Menstrual Hygiene survey report 2023, also revealed that 71.7 per cent of the participants do not want the menstrual leaves to be paid leaves, as it may make companies reluctant to hire female employees.
Also, 86.6 per cent of survey participants were in favour of menstrual-friendly workplaces where females do not have to be hesitant in discussing the subject openly.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently passed a bill banning discrimination based on height and weight.

In a welcoming move, New York City Mayor Eric Adams on May 26, 2023, signed a bill banning discrimination based on height and weight during employment, housing and public accommodation processes.&nbsp;
However, there are some exceptions in this law as it will not apply to those jobs which have an essential requirement for the employee to have a certain height or weight to be able to perform the job effectively.
It was further noted that the law will be effective within 180 days and will take effect from November 22.&nbsp;
Moreover, it is worth taking note that there is research which suggests that overweight women in the US are on average earning $5.25 less per hour, due to the so-called wage penalty. And, now the passing of this law is being appreciated by many.&nbsp;
