Why Telangana CM's daughter showed old mobile phones in bags to media

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter, K Kavitha appeared before the Enforcement Directorate for the third time on March 21 in connection to the Delhi liquor policy case.

While on her way to the probe agency's office, Kavitha displayed mobile phones used by her in the past, which she said were sought by the federal agency for its ongoing probe.

She said that the phones disproved ED's claim that the BRS leader had destroyed certain handsets. The BRS leader stated that she was submitting her previously used devices as part of her due assistance and co-operation in the agency's investigation.

Kavitha was earlier summoned by the ED on March 11 and 20 and grilled for a total of 18-19 hours. Kavitha is being questioned in a money laundering case linked to the Delhi liquor policy case.
