A popular YouTuber and tutor.

Known for his earthy, quirky and humorous online tutorials.

Patna waale Khan Sir is in the eye of storm.

Amid the controversy surrounding the tests conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC), an FIR has been filed by Patna Police against Khan Sir and others in Patna.

Khan Sir, who provides online coaching for competitive examinations, has been accused of inciting violence during a protest in Patna on Monday.

Thousands of railways job aspirants had protested and allegedly vandalised Railway property in parts of Bihar and UP.

Police have said that Khan Sir has been booked as he, in a viral video, allegedly instigated students to agitate on the streets if the RRB NTPC exams were not cancelled.

After the FIR, Khan Sir released a video appealing to students to call off their protests as their demands have been met and urged them not indulge in violence.

So who is Khan Sir.

  • Faisal Khan, popular as Patna waale Khan Sir runs a very popular online YouTube channel Khan GS Research Centre which provides students tutorials on various subjects.
  • His YouTube channel has almost 1.4 crore subscribers.
  • His unique teaching style which is easy to understand, full of humour and real-life examples has made him immensely popular among students preparing for competitive exams.
  • Originally from Gorakhpur in UP, he lives and works in Patna.
  • Father is a retired Armyman and his elder brother is also an Army commando.
  • Khan Sir himself had qualified NDA exam, but could not make it to the Army.
