What was the question that led to Kejriwal naming AAP ministers Atishi and Saurabh?

The Enforcement Directorate told the Rouse Revenue court that Arvind Kejriwal named fellow cabinet ministers Aitishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj when a key question regarding the liquor scam was asked during interrogation.

Informing the court, the ED said that when they asked Kejriwal how many times Vijay Nair contacted him, the AAP supremo said that Nair used to report to Aitish and Surabh, and not him.

The ED further claimed that Kejriwal kept giving false information about his party members.

"Arvind Kejriwal first says that ND Gupta is an active member of the party, is a member
of the PAC (Political Affairs Committee) and knows the party's functioning but when confronted with the statement of N D Gupta, wherein he reveals that the National Convenor takes such decisions, Arvind Kejriwal calls the National Treasurer confused."

Nair is the former communication-in-charge of the AAP and one of the accused in the Delhi liquor scam.

Nair was part of AAP when the alleged liquor scam unfolded.

However, AAP leader Jasmine Shah said that Nair reporting to Atishi and Saurabh was revealed more than two years ago and questioned why the ED was bringing up the issue now.

"When Vijay Nair was arrested, he told ED that he didn't report to the Chief Minister, he reported to Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj. Now the question arises, why did ED bring up this statement two and a half years later, which they have in written form?,” said AAP leader Jasmine Shah.

"Our senior leaders Atishi and Saurabh, who are ministers in the Delhi government, were named so that BJP understands that putting Arvind Kejriwal in jail won't shut down the party. Prepare for 2-3 more leaders, only then this name come up, although it was already recorded in their statements earlier,” said Jasmine Shah.
