In an emotional post, a man shares the reason why his now deceased mother ate in the same plate for over two decades.

Identifying himself as Vikram S Buddhanesan on his Twitter bio, the man shared the photo of the steel plate used by his late mother saying that he found out about the reason only after her demise.

As per his post, his 'Amma' ate in the same plate for 24 years because he had won it as a prize. He also revealed that she would only let him and his niece eat in that plate.

Vikram in a Twitter thread also divulged that he won the plate in 7th standard in the year 1999 and all these years his mother kept eating in it without his knowledge.

The post drew endearing reactions from netizens who also shared their tales of motherly love.
